Olinda is an agricultural and residential community on the island of Maui in the U.S. state of Hawaii, located approximately 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Makawao. It ranges in elevation from 1,800 to 4,200 feet on the northern slopes of Haleakala. It is a census-designated place, with a population of 1,188 at the 2020 census and an area of 7.5 square miles (19 km2).
